Latest 253

Please excuse the noise; I made the mistake of doing some of the subs at 3200 when the ambient was too high. I'll process again later without the
3200s, and see if it reduces the noise. My home made cool box is just
about ready for testing.
30 x 110 secs 1600, and 7 x 110 secs 3200.

Second image 1600s only.

I like it even with the noise Raymo
Which scope were you using for this? 80mm achro or 8" Newt?
Also, were you guiding?
Cheers

Bob

That's pretty good. I think both pics show a similar amount of detail, but the second one is a bit dark so I like the first one best.

Thanks Kevin. I prefer the first one too, but the removal of the 3200s
has reduced the noise.

Nice one raymo just to be different I prefer the second one, it shows more promise

Look forward to seeing how you get on with the cooler box

Thanks Dunk. The cooler box may come to nothing if I end up
with condensation on the camera sensor.

Both are very impressive Raymo. Looks like you're getting lots of natural colour in the galaxy.

Thanks Cam, I do try to avoid garish/and/or heavily saturated colours.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, with summer coming

Btw, apologies for the autocorrect slip-up in my previous post

Thanks for this one and Grus .Being as I don't guide, I am forced to use higher ISO's than I would like. I hope my cool box helps during the summer.
