Southern Pleiades

Managed to capture this beautiful little constellation/cluster when out at the ASV dark site the other week, can't capture it from home as it's always too low below our roof.

16 shots @ 5 mins, ISO800. Used my newly discovered pixinsight 'maskedstretch' process to help retain the star colours, think it worked!

That's a great shot. I also like all the fainter stars which are visible in the background..

Wow, thanks chaps. yes I liked the fainter yellow stars and the general look.

I'll post in the main forum if you think it's really worth it. Being a relative newbie, I'm wary about posting in such exalted company..

Great work, I can even see some traces of the blue reflection nebulosity.
