Filter Cleaning ??

We have an Astronomik UHC Filter which is in need of cleaning.

We use Bintel UHTC Cleaning Solution to clean our eyepieces. Can we safely use the same solution to clean the UHC Filter.

We're just a little unsure of using it because of the coatings on the filter, and can we use the solution to clean both sides ?

Some advise please guys

Astronomics filters are hard coated, and most are resistant to light scratching (Using the wrong cloths to clean or wipe).

Bintels solution is supposed to be good enough to clean lenses etc, i used it on my 14" RCX corrector, no probs. But in the end i used a lens cleaning solution (Professional) to clean the surface, as this left no marks after..
But for your purpose its fine. Just remember to use a Micro Fibre cloth, as it is very gentle to lenses, as long as you dont apply HULK pressure.
