Venus and Moonrise

I'd like to get into some more nightscape photography at some stage. Haven't done much before, so it's still a bit of a learning curve. Snapped this one on the way to work the other morning. It was just a spur of the moment thing, as I saw it out the window haha.

Would have liked a bit more light in the foreground maybe? It was a really beautiful morning.

70mm 1.6 second exposure at ISO 800 with the 5DMk2

Cheers Stephen It was! The moon always looks so interesting to me when its such a narrow crescent.
