Expecting the patter of another little Pentax

Ok, I said I may have to wait until Christmas to get an XW-7 but I off loaded some of my old 3D photographic equipment the other night (3D camera, twin Nikon rig, twin slide projectors etc.) and found myself with a handful of 50's. After thinking about it for several milliseconds I decided I should invest in another Pentax, so I rang up Star and it is on its way! They said they still have some at the special price of $399 but when the stocks run out, the 7, 10 and 14 will be going up, possibly to $450 or more...so if you want to get one later, better get it sooner!

If you look at the sig, you will see it has arrived. I have yet to introduce it to its siblings, but I am sure it will fit right in!

You are building a nice collection of eyepieces there.
Do you notice any softening of focus towards the edge on your Pentax XW 14mm. I do, but still love the eyepiece...
Just got a 22mm Panoptic - same thing, field curvature but less light loss than the Nagler I have...

I have only had 1 night where I have actually been able to do any sort of observing at all (bought the 14 nearly 3 weeks ago now), but I did notice the last little bit of the field was not quite tack sharp. I would be interested to know if it is actually coma? I'd love to be able to drop in a ParraCor and see what difference it makes, the reviews I have read imply that once you try one, you won't want to give it back. Does anyone have a loan one?
