Dss Question

Hi Peeps
Wondering if someone can tell me if this is right or wrong ?

I use a Nikon d5300 to take some shots in the backyard but when i load the raw files into dss it says the files are Gray 16 bit is this correct? I find them very hard to process after stacking to get any colour.

cheers

Graeme.

Your version of DSS support your camera ? Check it. I never heard about this message.

Some times DSS cause saturation of stars and you loose theis colors. But I reckon that this is not your problem.

generally a lot of colour is 'lost' and further adjustments in programs like photoshop are very useful, perhaps post a raw file somewhere like drop box and people can look at it for you.

cheers,

russell
