Vixen LVW 13mm & 17mm

Hi Guys

We are looking for feedback on Vixen LVW 13mm & 17mm eyepieces to use in our 12" f5 Dob.

Anyone who has either of these ep's or has had any experience viewing with them. We would be interested in any comments.

They are both excellent eyepieces. You would be very happy with them. There are plenty of other great choices at this focal length but these 2 are right up there.

Hi Barb and Dave, I dont know how far you guys live from Ballarat but if you guys can make it to the Snake Valley meteor extravaganzer night on fri July 28th you can check out and test drive my LVW vixens.
I dont have the 13 or 17mm but i do have the 8mm and 22mm lvw which may give you an idea on the quality of the vixens.
You can also try out my 30mm ultima .

Hope to see you guys there as it will be a great night.

Thanks for the offer Daniel. We have been thinking about coming on Friday but we just can't make it this time. Hope we can catch up with you there some other time as we are definately going to get to one of the Snake Valley events soon.

Vixen LVW eyepieces are highly recommended.
I use them as well as Pentax’s. After all the eyepieces I have used I find these two brands as good as it gets. IMO.

I use Vixen LVW 22mm lens, singularly and in binoviewers and they are very, very good!
