William Optics 2" APO 2.5x Barlow?

Hi all,

Has anyone used the William Optics 2" APO 2.5x Barlow?

I wonder how it stacks up against the TV 1.25" 2.5x Powermate?

They're both around the same price point, but obviously the opportunity to use 2" EPs is attractive (and my 22mm Panoptic has a 2" skirt!)
It's the optical quality that counts in the long run though so can the WO beat or equal the TV?
Cheers
Doug

l have quite a bit of W.O gear scopes, diagonals etc and find the quality to be spot on, l don't know how the barlow compares with the Teleview but for value for money l would go the W.O every time, when l first joined the forum Teleview was the bees knees however now it seems that people have been looking around and the other gear seems to be comparing very favourably.

Oddly enough this thread on CN about the WO 2.5x has just surfaced again. Check it out and keep an eye out for further developments.

Agree, but it's a worry when 2 owners in a thread testify to similar problems in a product. The TV barlow gets a unanimous 10/10 across the board.
I'll keep watching!!!!
Cheers
