I couldn't pass this up .... it came at a very very good price ... mainly for the wife to enjoy.
It's Brand New , never seen ' first light ' until I bought it home also on Sunday .......

There goes my ' Pension ' for the fortnight ....

Nice Col..Same fabulous BAADER Prism diagonal as I have ..love it on my big SCT.
everyone should have a Nice Refractor of 71mm up and an Sct Newt or Mak of 6" or more for visual..enjoy.

mewlon 180 cooling down dm4 on a gitzo 5533 wider leg angle for extra stability and the one day chance i'll find a little reclining chair that slots in .

They would be fun , music and all ,, I have tried a cheapo eb ay adjustable stool they are a bit tipy as with the cheapo drum thrones , I tried a very nice one today very stable and comfortable just not cheap guess you pay for what you get .

I'm thinking about getting a Berlebach Charon (from memory) adjustable chair. One of the important aspects for me is that they fold flat for transportation but if it's just in your back yard then comfort is probably more important over portability.

Colin I have a Charon chair, it was a good choice IMHO. It's a total no-brainer to adjust, and you can lean back on the upright section if you like. The ply chosen for the back provides just the right amount of flexure making the seat quite comfortable without feeling flimsy.

a ' Big ' Thank You to Matt for allowing me to purchase ( on the never never ) my previously owned FTX Mount which came with some special Mod's like ' Encoders ' Beautifully made Handle etc.

I can now use all my Scopes ' rock steady '

Today I upgraded my Pronto with the Tele Vue balance aid and finder bracket. The scope now balances perfectly even with heavy eyepieces like the TS ED 40mm.

I can now comfortably sweep the Milky Way at 12x and a 5.7º field of view.
