Thanks Raymo

Hi everyone.

Time and weather haven't been my best friends of late.

But once again, inspired by Raymo, I have decided to
post my few images I was able to capture since late May.

This one is of Scorpio / Sagittarius regions.

UV modded Canon 1000D
Nifty 50 (50mm lens)
10 x 45 seconds.
ISO 1600
Skywatcher StarAdventurer

Stacked in asiair pro
Processed with Snapseed

A little noisy through high ISO.

Thanks for looking.

Paul.

Paul, Your image is extremely noisy, and would be pretty good without the noise.
You don't mention whether you are using darks, flats, etc: or whether you
use in camera noise reduction. The 1100D has a 1600 ISO sweet spot, and
if I remember correctly, the 1200 does too, so I'm guessing that the 1000D
does as well. It's worth googling to find out. Many other models are 800,
including my 600D. You could improve the noise situation dramatically by taking lots more subs, say another 40 or 50.

It is quite remarkable that anyone should call me either of those terms, as
what I know about digital AP you could write on the back of a postage stamp.
I came into digital in my 70s and couldn't get my head around all the
computer stuff.
