Ngc6357

Howdy,

Long time since I posted an image. Long time since I've had decent weather to collect data, too.

Please see my version of part of the NGC6357 area. I hope you enjoy the view.

You can use the size buttons at the bottom and all image capture details etc are with the image.

Cheers and clears!

Really one of the best images of this nebula I've seen. Your star colour is excellent. Those four bright stars can blow out really easily, but you nailed it. Great work!

Hi Graham

Who doesn't love a good lobster!

You've done a great job with the LRGB.

Would you add a Ha, S2, O3 layer in the future?

Last year I gathered 20hrs of HSO and you have inspired me to gather LRGB.

Very well done

Thanks Mike. Actually, this one and the Tarantula mess with my OCD of symmetry!

Hello PKay. To be honest, I grabbed 2 hours each of Ha and OIII and didn't end up using them. I felt the pure LRGB was actually a better image. I've spent the last few days on and off playing with various iterations of the data before I settled on LRGB only.
