20th June, Sun

20th June.

A lot of cloud around today and I had to wait hours to get a small window of clear sky for an image of the sunspots at 540 nm. A H alpha image was even more difficult as the best I could get was an image thru cloud (hence the Ha shot is a bit patchy). Both single exposures taken with a Canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing.

Nice capture John. Great proms to the north today and you caught the flaring on AR3038.
