Reputable dealers of SD cards

Upgrading all my SD and CF cards to 'Sandisk Extreme',I have a few for the DSLR's,but some smaller cameras have had some SD cards with brand I've never really heard off.

So looking to get new ones,to avoid data loss,it appears 'Sandisk' brand is preferred,by professional photographers. But many say to be careful where purchased,as there are many fakes-some a very good look-alikes too.

So where is a proper place that stocks the real deal?

I found this place. http://stores.ebay.com.au/storage-sp...4.l1513&_pgn=3

But being ebay, they could be fakes.Any advice most appreciated

Chris

Have a look at BH PhotoVideo http://tinyurl.com/bs54os3

They are a US company and supplied high speed CF and other format cards at a better price, including postage, than I could get from here. Shipping time was OK from the US.

Chris, depending on the camera, I'd use either Sandisk Extreme (45MB/s) or Sandisk Extreme Pro (95MB/s). If the camera can generate more than about 40MB/s the cheaper one won't keep up. My a77 can generate 366MB/s and none of the SD cards can keep up with that. Once the in-camera buffers fill the Pro keeps it running at above 3fps.

Bing Lee are advertising 32GB Pro SD for $99, 16GB Pro SD for $79, and 16GB Extreme CF for $89 with free shipping.

I got mine from Umart in Milton. They look like the genuine article. Think they do mail order - not sure, I've always picked stuff up from them. Joel might be able to collect them from there for you.

Between the brewery and the river - down the road from the mini Eiffel tower.
