autoguide software

i got my QHY5LII for planetary, but been fooling around trying to get it set up for autoguiding, i dont have much luck with PHD and noticed Guidemaster supports it, i cant seem to get an image on the screen though, any suggestions? thx

Exactly which version of PHD are you using? 1.14.1 and above - in the Pre-release folder - are supposed to work.

i got the latest version installed but havent tried it yet, problem was with the older version and webcam it doesnt always guide and crashed alot, ill try it out when the weather clears, i was just looking for an alternate guiding program

Get the latest windows and ascom drivers from qhy and phd works fine.

The windows drivers lets windows talk to the camera and the ascom drivers lets software like phd or maxim talk to the windows driver via ascom.

It's definitely not rocket science.
