It was pretty cool...by sheer coincidence we had a room at the Pullman on Circular Quay and had a great view of the show from the balcony.

BTW that linked video is time compressed...it took longer for the drones to change formation on the night.

Good point Peter- you can see it in the reflection of light from the wave crests in the water near the pier. The wave movement is far too fast for the video to be in real time.

A stunning display indeed. That technology seems to have advanced considerably since the Tokyo? Olympics did the first display.

Apparently the organisers of the Sydney display consulted with the organisers of the display at the Tokyo Olympics.
