Just the one, very large, almost perfectly round spot surrounded by an also perfectly round umbra. It is very attractive. I could see nothing else in Region 2882.

Regions 2882's very large spot is showing signs of breaking into two separate spots.
It is now accompanied a close pair of small spots and one tiny spot.

The large spot in Region 2882 is still intact, although it looks a bit

Two small spots and lots of tiny spots are nearby.

The big spot in Region 2882 is very close to the limb today. I expect it will be gone tmo.

I hope something else arrives, or it will be somewhat boring in white light.

Region 2886 come round the limb about 3 days ago. It has one large spot with umbra surrounding it. It is now at a good angle to see well.

I have been looking, but did not see Regions 2883, 84 or 85.

New Region 2887 with 2 spots is near the Eastern Limb.

The one spot of 2886 continues to feature strongly.

Region 2887 has an extra spot today and is surrounded by faculae.

Region 2886 still has only one spot, albeit an interesting large spot.

There are additional small spots today in Region 2887, which has become a very attractive grouping.

October 27th: 7.40am.

There are five active regions visible with sunspots visible in white light.

A new region consists of one small spot is on the Eastern Limb and has yet to receive a number. (On the Space Weather site).

Region 2887 has over a dozen members and is putting on a fine show.

Region 2886 has only one spot, but it is the largest spot visible.

Region 2890 is between the two prior mentioned regions. It popped out two days back and has three spots today: up from two yesterday.

Region 2889 is new to me and consists of six small/tiny spots.

Enjoy your reports Troppo.

Sol is very picturesque today, with lots of proms surrounding the limb, in Ha.
The spots in white light are impressive too.

Yesterdays new Region (now 2891) has developed into a group of approximately 6 spots, which is accompanied by faculae.

The appearance of other Regions has not changed much from yesterday.

There are 4 Regions with sunspots visible this morning.

Regions 2887 & 2891 are both putting on a fine show, whereas Region 2886 is about to exit past the Western Limb.

I saw just two groups today. Old Region 2891 has 2 large and 1 medium spot and is still interesting. New (to me) Region 2893 has just the one large spot, which is surrounded by umbra.

There is a new Region 2894 near the Sun's Limb.
Region 2893, which still has just the one large spot, continues to be interesting.

Three Regions, but only 4 spots visible today, as seen in Paul's much appreciated image from yesterday.

The new Region with two spots is 2895.

Region 2895 now has a third spot, however the other two spots have faded.

Regions 2893 & 2894 both consist of just one large spot.

I looked directly at the Sun today with my Vixen 80mm ED & solar filter. Region 2894 has three spots, one medium, two small and they are surrounded by a common umbra. I had been calling this as just one large spot.

Region 2893 is now close to the Sun's Western Limb and Region 2895 continues to fade.
