Horsehead

Finally on the 10th Dec had a clear night to test new scope an AG12.5iDK. Only had to wait a month after receiving it. Anyway first quarter moon, backyard in Brisbane, 15 x 300sec subs, only used Darks for calibration. No Flats, with ASI6200MC, quick batch process in PI and some basic curves etc in PS. Guiding with WO 60mm guidescope on AP1200. Need to fine tune collimation but reasonable result. Sky very transparent skies after recent storms. Not the best seeing though.

Hi Luke,

great first light with tight stars to the edges.
That's a high end scope.
You should get many beautiful images from that.

cheers
Allan

A great first light. Your scope is high end.
That slight elongation on the left is tilt rather than collimation. That is usual for the 6200 and also for ZWO who don’t square their sensors.
