Our house as close to half built as I can find. The next photo will have something reptilian in it.

Nice one Alex!
This is the water dragon that lives under our house.
The next photo will have something to do with “

Hi Alex
This photo was taken with the 400mm f5.6L, hanging out of our lounge room window, hence the very shallow DOF. Lizzie doesn’t seem to mind me pointing the lens from the window, but as soon as I try to set up in the garden, she’s off, keeping a respectable 7-10 metres between us.
Cheers
Dennis

Hi Alex
Excellent detail and sharpness in the texture of the skin! A red LED suspended on a string in our garage, producing spirals and rotation!
The next photo will have something to do with “
good news ” in it.
Cheers

Nice images!
Hi Dennis, Hi Al,
Wonderful spiral/rotation shots!
Al's has the type of motion in it much favoured by National Geographic editors
when it comes to selection of images.
Best Regards
Gary

Image of family
Shot of my dad, one of the first shots taken with the 1D Mark IIn. Usual adjustments to WB in Photoshop, contrast, hue/sat and some sharpening done. This is a simply resize (bicubic sharpening) from the original full res shot.
Dave
edit: this is one of the last shots of him where he looked healthy. Sadly, his health has declined due to a lengthy period of stay in hospital whilst they investigated stomach issues. These days he is very gaunt and only getting thinner as he loses more weight.

Nice one, David. Sorry to hear about your dad's health issues. These things are tough on everyone.
So what's next?
Al.
