woo hoo its 1 month till astrofest hopefully the weather will be clear saving our money for the raffles some nice prizes
who else is booked and keen to go?

Whoever coined "astrofest" needs to be taken out the back and quietly put down; it is dreadful affliction, starting with aperture fever and leading to terminal multiple telescopitis.

You've obviously never been to astrofest Wavytone, its far more a festival than a party.......except for that sorry lot that inhabit the western fence, they're right into karioke after a few reds on the last Saturday night. Sad really.

And yes people usually do end up with those terminal illnesses after attending.

There'll be at least 3 IIS moderators there, Mikee is sending us along to ensure that the integrity of the IIS name is upheld .

Dress codes apply......acceptable dress is an IIS beaniie and T shirt....

Maybe it has something to do with the extra five and a half weeks holidays I have after astrofest as well.

ive both but no way am i wearing a shirt on its own of a nightit may be in qld but it gets very cold
with power to the caravans electric blankets are nice early in the mornings

Seems that Dennis, Paul and I are the only really dedicated imagers that go there anyway. The rest of you pike out way too early.
