Really nice set of pics. A very productive outing.
Would you know the NGC number of the irregular spiral galaxy in the center your markarian field?

Thanks Marc,

I think it's M84, also known as NGC 4374.

What a great collection of galaxies. Very clean detailed images. I am particularly impressed by the chain.

Wiruna sounds like a great place to visit.

Might join ASNSW and go there one day.

Nice work Paul

Thanks Ray, I think I need to go a lot deeper and try and get some good colour in the spiral. Basically it's a new scope and I wanted to shoot as many things as possible under dark skies, so didn't spend much time on each image.

Thanks Peter. I can recommend Wiruna, just take a freezer suit in autumn/winter/spring. I just joined, you can camp at $7 per night and there is a kitchen and plenty of space to securely setup your scope. People are friendly as well

Thanks Ryan,

I have a OSC camera and can shoot in central Sydney with my ZWO duoband but much prefer the native colour under dark skies.
