thanks for the tip but I prefer blue tack as I seem to be able to focus better as I have it not so tight er squeezed whatever and press it down when I get focus plus it comes off with out leaving a sticky trail behind
.
but I use blue tack for lots of things ..cables stick a tool to the pier or tripod..
I did not use blue tack last night cause it is in the observatory and I was rushing to beat the clouds
