Quick impressions on new EP

I brought a 25mm from Amazon thinking that it was like my existing 25mm Plossl. (The larger one in the picture).

Ok, it was only $20. What I received has a noticeably smaller field of view and shows much CA around the field stop when I hold the EP up to the daylight. I think it may be a cheap Kellner.

I will give it a try when clear and if I change my mind about it capabilities, I will advise.

I have 25, 20, and 10mm pairs of those plossls. Saxon brand here in Australia. They are very good. All have sharp field stops. Not the new one you bought.

Thanks Doug. Unfortunately, there is no good comparison between what I brought and what I was hoping for.

Weird, a bit like the Meade series 3000, no eyecups.
