Askar600 and NGC 6188

First light for the new Askar600. The emission nebula NGC 6188 or the Fighting Dragons of Ara. Also my first narrowband image with ~20 hrs of data!

I've used the ForaxX palette

Details:

Sky: Bortle class 4
Ha: 47 x 10 min
Oiii: 48 x 10 min
Sii: 47 x 10 min

Askar600
QSI WGS683
Lodestar X2 guide camera
Losmandy G11
PhD2 Guiding
SGP

Very nice shot Aaron, I like the colour palette, plenty of contrast too. This image must be lovely at high resolution because the .jpg compression posted still looks good. A great first light for your set up. By the standard you've produced here, it won't be long before you're out of the Beginners section!

Thanks all. Not sure I've over sharpened it, but happy with my first attempt at narrowband.


I was hoping to have another go using a wider FOV, but not sure the weather will let me.
