First Light with FMA 180

Finally three hours of clear Sky!
This image is IC 434 taken with FMA180 with ASI183MC and ZWO Duoband filter. I mounted this on top of the Esprit 100 using two ASIAir PROs. Mono on the Esprit and OSC with the FMA both aimed at the same target.

There is some CA but an order of magnitude less than my Canon lenses! Might have a look to see if anything else is causing this.

5 x 180sec subs stacked and quickly processed in Affinity. The FMA. 180 is guided by the OAG on the Esprit via ASIAIR Pro on image train No1.

Best wishes to everyone for the New-Year and hoping Covid hasn't stuffed up your plans!

Nice one Chris, that’s interesting

I’d been looking at the FMA135 but the spot diagrams put me off a bit.

It’s really hard to find something that doesn’t require selling a kidney at the shorter focal lengths
