This particular Solar activity is very interesting to see. I quite enjoy observing it close up through the 10' F5 scope - this shot however is spoilt by an annoying dust spot and a band running through the image(may be the gain setting that caused it or the processing in Registax using the Dyadic wavelet scheme). I tried to capture a short SER to use as a Flat but had trouble creating a single stacked frame to apply to the Light capture.
Anyhow much to learn.

Sunny days.

Anthony despite that pesky dust moat and narrow line this is still a great shot of an interesting sunspot group well done.

Anthony,
Good catch!
FireCapture can automatically record and apply both flats and darks.
Check it out.
