Mmmmm? I wonder

Howdy!
I have had an improvement in the general roundness of my stars since using an EQ6, however I still notice that I have stars on one side of the image that are quite round and that are starting to elongate on the other. I use a DSI Pro 2 so the image area is quite small. To this end I don't think its coma. Could it be that the focuser is worn and sags, the camera snout is not in the focuser tube properly or the chip is not straight in the camera?
I'm gonna try to get out tonight and have a play. Was going to try my old DSI1 Colour and/or my 40d. The trouble with the 40d is that any length of exposure over about 60 secs gives me a whited out screen, with a faint hint of my object underneath.

Its also possible that the camera isn't square to the optical train (sagging could have something to do with that).

I concur - i had this problem with a new scope. I drastically fixed mine by getting a new focuser

Thanks guys,
I thought so! Because I'm married with kids and a bit povo at the moment, would this one be ok? https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Images/Stock/7628X.jpg Bintel, $129.00 I think it is.
I cant afford some of the JMI ones they have there, although that's the way to go.
Thanks.

Or this one as I could adapt my JMI focus motor to it easier.

Try to get one that has two screws to compress the brass ring. I have a WO one for my ED80 and it only has one screw to compress the brass ring and that skews the camera, but the double screws on my 72 mm refractor doesn't skew the camera.
