Choice of image capture and stacking software

I am curious what combinations of image capture and stacking software anyone would recommend - for ease of use and effectiveness. Thanks

So you want a combined function in a single software app, or a combination of software apps? You don't care about cost?

If we're talking about fast frame cameras for Solar, Lunar, Planetary....
I use Firecapture for acquisition, Autostakkert 3! for stacking, and ImPPG for processing.

What camera are you using ?
DSLR ?
CCD Astro camera ?

I’m a beginner ( imaging for only 18 months ) using a DSLR at prime focus in my 8” f5 Newtonian on a EQ6-R Mount
I use the following -
Image capture all objects - Backyard EOS classic edition
Stacking raw DSO images - Deep Sky Stacker
Stacking planetary and lunar - Autostakkert 3
Processing DSO - Startools
Processing planetary and lunar - Registax 6

All the above very simple to use from a beginners point of view

Is there an alternative software less complex than Winjupos that derotates planet video capture during stacking?

Try SharpCap. It captures and stacks, and you can see a live result on the fly.
