Base for LB16

The original base for the LB16 is huge and does not fit through the door!
My version also fits on a standard fold-up removalists trolley.

Everything fine so far but I'm not happy with the plastic Alt bearing.
Its very stiff and I want to try felt unless I can find some Teflon sheet.

I cut a strip (about 2mm thick) out from a cheap nylon chopping board brought from a $2 shop..I used flat headed nail and counter-sunk them with a nail punch to hold it in place. I gave the contact surface a brisk rub with some 400 grade wet and dry..or steelwool..it worked pretty well. It only needs a clean with metho once in a while.
Cheers!
