Saturn on 8 August 2022

This is the image that we took of Saturn last night, 8 August. The seeing was only average. We normally can capture Enceladus in our images but it was too close to Saturn's disk for our scope to resolve it, so only three moons visible. Taken with our 6" SCT, ASI178MC, 1.8x barlow and ZWO ADC.

You did well to get this result with a 6 inch scope. My shot on the same night was not much better using an 8 inch Newtonian.

Thank you Michael, David, Trevor and Hans.
We can only hope for some slightly better weather and seeing in the next little bit for a chance at opposition.
