2 Aug Sunspots

2nd August. Not a lot of sunspots showing today. Only one prominent group AR3068. The group AR3070 shows very little in the way of spots but may develop further. There is some faculae on the SE limb. Single exposure taken with a Canon 550d camera attached to a WO 81 mm scope and herschel wedge. Too windy today for any Ha images. Thanks for viewing.

Well done getting images today John. Very windy here with lots of high cloud.
There is a new region coming in on the SE limb, one to watch for.
