I have sitting around an LXD55 mount, has not been used for many years. It came with my SN-10 which I promptly placed on my NEQ6.
The mount works and was tested last night however it is suffering from the usual LED display failure on the Autostar controller. I have a USB connector cable which plugs into the controller, I had the mount moving and tracking with Cartes Di Ciel's SKyChart and with Meade Astronomy Suite.
There is also a guide to replace the LCD which costs around $50 if you are interested.
The mount needs some TLC but generally is in good condition for its age.
Would also be a great unit for donor mount to fix up another LXD55.
Please message me if interested. I was going to ask $250 for the mount, but if this is an unfair amount for it then I am open to offers.
Comes with the following. Mount, tripod, counter weights, battery box, controller and usb cable.
Must be pick up only in Brisbane.
