How much force does it need to handle? is it something in the realm of being 3D printable?

Just a small amount of effort to manually move the Scope
Probably could be ....I know nothing about 3D Printing.

Hi Col,

If you or a friend are handy it could be made by hand from some steel or aluminium flat section using not much more than a drill or drill press, vice to help with bending etc.

Best

Col, roughly where are you? I might be able to knock something up if you can give me measurements.

So far...

Hi Col,

Sorry to take so long getting back to you.

I've attached what I have so far. The holes may need to be reamed out slightly
and The handle is still oversized by about 10mm width.

Life keeps getting in the way

Hopefully one or two more sessions and it will look much prettier.

I haven't tried to offset the handle as
a) I don't want to bend it to close and too much.
b) it will be a bugger to bend (1/8"steel)

Cheers,

Neville,
