Very windy conditions!!

There are a few occasions when a small scope is a distinct advantage and today was one of them. Not only was the dog blown off the chain, but the chain and all was blown away!! 45km/hr Northerly gusting 60km/hr. Even with the small scope on a relatively large mount, it was still being significantly moved in the wind. Not the best of conditions and only a very small gap in the clouds anyway. But with so much activity, we couldn't resist trying. This is our one image captured.

Hi Clare and Peter, You were lucky to get any shot today - all cloudy, rain and windy up where I live. Good image considering the conditions. Cheers John W.

Thanks John. It was nice to at least have a brief look at recent developments with so much happening. Unfortunately it looks like it is finally Victoria's turn to have some of the average weather. We really can't complain when you look at what Qld & NSW have had for the last 6 months. We have been watching the weather to see if it has been a bit better further north thinking of a possible day at Heathcote but saw that it was no better than here. Rain at the moment where we are

Hi Clare & Peter,

Detailed images despite the conditions.
Hope you got the dog back.

Richard.
