Dune 1984....groan. still love to watch it for the good bits, but it always felt like it could have been soooo much better. Maybe the latest version by the director of Arrival and Bladerunner 2049 will be good.

And of course the standard drearily predictable Hollywood schlock like Gravity, Avatar and Interstellar make the "dont cut it" list.

Anyway, how come you guys dont like Arrival? - for my money, along with the second Bladerunner, it has to up there with the most astonishing movies ever made - of any genre.

Late to the party as usual but Ad Astra is an absolute stinker from the beginning to its eventual, long overdue, end.
