27th dec Sunspots

27th Dec. Sunspot group 2916 is prominent today with a few other smaller groups (numbers show the AR). I took this single exposure image with a Canon 550d camera attached to a WO 81 mm refractor with herschel wedge at 540 nm. There maybe a couple of new spots developing. It was very windy. Thanks for viewing.

John this is nice clean shot of the Sun and AR 2916 certainly deserves top billing. Big changes on the solar surface over the last few days. Thanks for posting.
