amazing how discussions always end up on the type of glass in so many astronomy forums. People spend way too much time worrying about this stuff.

To the topic: thanks for the tests, Martin. It's a lens I lust over, but will settle for a cheaper Astro-Tech 130 (much cheaper!) in future.

Very curious about this camera you're shooting with though. And also curious about how you tamed that M42 core with 5 min subs and only single exposures. Your processing is very good!

Thanks Adam - as for M42, its just down to technique.

The camera is the QHY600C.
