Hmm. That's interesting. I chose a Bee-link mini-PC because it runs off 12V.
When I looked at the Intel NUCs and asked around, the recommendation was not to undervolt. They recommend 19V +/- a couple of volts. 12V was not recommended.

Do you run it on 12V all the time?

Hi Gary I have been told and I follow this principle with usb cables .Any usb cable 2 m and under should not be any smaller then 25 AWG (American wire gauge(higher the number the smaller the wire)
any cable 2m to 5 should 23awg 5m or longer 20 AWG and always use a power hub ,and always plug your cables into the same port hope this helps
