How do I get ...!!

I have a pair of Binoculars which are getting ' sticky ' on the outside.

How can I get rid of it ....is there a product that will clean this ' stickiness ' off...I believe some of Canon's Image Stabilizer Binoculars suffer from this same problem.

What can I do.

Col.

Edit .... I found this may work ....... https://flickrshare.blogspot.com/201...ness-from.html

Just wipe it off with metho (which is basically watered down isopropyl alcohol anyway - not quite but same effect). I believe it is Buna-N (nitrile synthetic rubber) and is very resistant to chemicals.

I have one of those coated laptop bodies. Had it 6 years, always wipe it with metho. Keeps it from happening. Same on the mouse.
