M1 crab nebula

Hi all , this is my first attempt of processing with siril , and I only spent about 10 minutes all up with the processing, I am going to have a bit more of a play with it later today.

Taken with esprit 120 and 294mc pro ,

70 x 300 sec guided light subs
30 x 300 sec darks
Taken with optolong L enhance
Stacked In DSS as I had already Stacked it . Going to try siril for everything next time. And processing in siril

Nice effort Kuz. I remember really wanting to tackle this target when I was getting started only to realise that it only gets to about 30deg above the horizon at meridian. Sadly for me down here it’s off my list. I’ll be interested to see what a difference you make when you do a full process on it.

Nice one Kuz. It’s a tiny (apparent) object and doesn’t fill much of the frame at all on the Esprit so this was really well done.

Thanks all . Yeah it is small target. I think next time I will try with the optolong
l enhance. I took about 10 subs with it on the same night and the colours were more orange and green. But a bit duller .
