Ngc 2070 improvement over 2 .5 years

My progress of ngc 2070 over the last 2 1/2 years. Although taken with different telescope and filters. My last ones are a bit bight with saturation. You should be able to notice which ones are for two years ago

Thanks JA

Funny part is I was probably more excited with the worst image . The green version taken with a optolong l-pro. I think it was my 4th image ever taken
I can remember thinking why is in so green. Quite happy with my last attempts, though.

I'm also revisiting Tarantula at the moment, it being one of the first objects I imaged when I took this up more than a year ago now. Easily one of the Southern Hemisphere's best exclusives I really like the colour palette on your newer images, what filter(s) are they taken with and what sort of colour recombination, if I may ask?

Hi Shaun, the top 3 images are the same one . taken with a zwo 294 pro and a optolong L extreme. After processing in gimp I used lightroom on my Samsung tablet to play with the colours, I use lightroom to do most of my finishing touches. I am currently trying to get my head around siril at the moment.

Cheers, I usually finish up in Photoshop but I might give Lightroom a shot too. Siril is fantastic once you get used to the interface, highly recommend it for stacking and initial processing like background extraction.

Thanks Adam . By the time I see a cloudless night again
I will probably have to remember which end of the telescope points to the sky
Seems like forever.
