The Sun on Jan 8th

Jan 8th... I managed to take two pics of the Sun this morning thru a gap in the clouds. Both single exposures with Canon 550d. First image is at 540 nm, WO 81 mm scope with herschel wedge. Second at Halpha wavelength thru a Lunt 100 scope. Two active regions are seen and numbered. There is a small prominence on the SE limb. Thanks for viewing.

Very nice images of this grouping John. It’s great to see the Sun shining again.
