Additional testing confirming JWT is ready for flight, and launch preparations target launch date of Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 7:20 a.m. EST
Fueling operations began Thursday 25th Nov

One can imagine the levels of stress and anxiety building up over there. The people closely associated with this project will not have ever experienced a more important event; nor will they ever do so again. This represents their entire life’s work in most cases.

Probably not as stressful as the person that did this ..

I agree with you Peter, when did we lose our sense of adventure? When did advancements in technology make achievements of science and engineering become “impossible” or “unbelievable”?

The folk on this project are highly skilled and have been working tirelessly on this. I for one will be cheering for these folk and hoping it all goes to plan. I’m excited about what the new scope will show us.

We could all use something to hope for. That’s the only way to fight the negativity that appears to have bloomed these past couple of years
