Meade Wide Field Viewing system .5 SCT's Scopes
This is a very rare item, I have used it successfully with to take photos but can also be used for wide-field viewing.
Meade .5 Telecompressor Lens "SFR 20"
The way it works is the Telecompressor screws into a diagonal and then a T-Adapter screws to the other side of the telecompressor lens which has a standard SCT srew fitting to attach to the back of the scope with a 2" visiual back
When attached this effectivly reduces the system by .5 so an 8" f10 SCT becomes .5 or f5 1000mm
The was made in Japan so the optics are spot on.
