Skywatcher Wi-Fi dongle

Hi,

I'm trying to find the wiring for the patch cable for Skywatcher Wi-Fi dongle.
(Star Discovery Mak 127mm Scope GoTo Az mount)

Mine is damaged the small end connector need replacing.

Does anyone have a pin-pin diagram so I can cut it off and get repaired?

I think I found a set eventually, use "schematic of the ports" for the search along with the mount type etc.

Don't worry about including the scope type in the search, just the mount make/model and the handset make/model/version etc.

I got mine for the SW Dob, they are part of the manual I think as an appendix, in some manuals anyway.

This thread reminds me that in the box that carried the EQ8R there was a dongle ..I put it back without another thought so later I will get it out of that box and maybe see if I can use it somehow...thanks

Alex,
My advice ( take it with a grain of salt if you wish ) is to hardwire your rig with good cables to your laptop in your Observatory. This eliminates the possibility of wifi signal drop outs, bandwidth issues etc...
These wifi dongles have their use in smaller more portable and remote set ups but in a big permanent Obs with your big rig , hardwired system is the best way to go IMO
Best
Martin
PS: I’ve read on various forums inc CN , these Skywatcher wifi dongles have known to give folk trouble from time to time but again they have their use and versatility.
