M17 in Narrowband - 30 hours

Hi everyone,

M17 Narrowband image taken from Brunswick, Victoria in severely light polluted skies.

Approximately 30 hours made up of 30 minute exposures using 4.5nm narrowband filters (Oii, Ha and Sii) using an AP900 mount, 9.5" CDK telescope and an ASI1600mm camera.

Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop and a real adventure in managing colour schemes, star masks and gradients.

Will be working on a starless version over the coming days.

Clear skies.
