September 2021 Photo Challenge - Entries Thread

As a bit of fun each month, we run this informal Photo Challenge, it's open to everyone.
No prizes, just the kudos.

Last month's challenge was won by Phil (scribbly) and Al (sheeny) who then choose the next challenge.

They have consulted, and have come up with a lockdown friendly topic this month... "Which window will we look through today?" (Apologies to Play School).

This should allow those of us still in Lockdown to compete without breaching any standing health orders.
So grab a camera and have a go. Thanks.

The Fine Print:
* This is the Entries thread. Only for posting your entry, and its back story.
* Comments on other entries are not allowed here, but can be posted to the "Comments and Other Images Thread" -> HERE.
* Just to clarify, entries are limited to one image per person. Additional images may be posted to the "Comments and Other Images Thread"
* Of course, the image must be your "own work"
and
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The "winner" will be determined by public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, and will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo immortalised in our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame".

Good Luck!

Algebuckina Ruins

I'll start it off.

This photo is from the Ruins at Algebuckina on the Oodnadatta Track. I took this this year on the way back from the Finke Desert race.

Point Nepean Quarantine Station

A reflection when looking into a window of one of the old buildings at Point Nepean Quarantine Station, taken back in the day before lock-downs!
It was in operation between 1852 to 1980, and was most busy during the 1919 Spanish flu pandemic.
