Bunnings bit and pieces dept. I got a plastic box with about 50 different sizes for about $5. Automotive section quite often has them but miine was part of a promo display.

Auto shops have them - I replaced the as-new ones on the cruddy Skywatchers I used to have - they became hard and brittle within months of new.

The 6x30's are the easiest to re-ring. Even a slightly undersize one will work fine.

I just cut a small strip off a bike inner tube and stretch it over the finder tube. Works perfectly for me.
