Mini PC for controlling mount outside remotely?

Hi, First sorry if i have got this in the wrong section.

I am just thinking about controlling my mount remotely from inside the house.
I currently take my old laptop outside and set it up next to the mount, and i am now just thinking of getting a mini pc and have that connected to the mount and control it remotely vis my laptop from inside.

I haven't made up my mind if it is a worth while thing to give a try or not yet so was just asking for a little bit of advice on what others here might be using as i am sure there are a few that use mini pcs for this setup.

I am basically at the moment just trying to find out what a good cheap mini pc to use?
I have been doing a bit of research and nothing much has really came up.
I have seen a youtube video of a person in the states using a BMAX
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...language=en_US
But that is in the States.

I could also be wrong here, but i think i need to have Windows 10 Pro to allow remote access, my laptop has the pro version but i see this one from Amazon doesn't.

I just basically want it to run all my gear as i am with my Laptop ( a bit of a vague description i know )

Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks.
Peter.

Peter,
I use Remote Desktop from my laptop in the NexDome to my laptop in the study
Yes you do require Windows 10 pro on both machines
I ran a Cat5e data cable underground from NexDome to house at approx 35m in length, works beautifully
Cheers
Martin
