RCW89 Nebula in the Constellation of Circinus in NB

Hi Guys

Not oft imaged and quite dim, so over 100 hrs total exposure time.
3 nm Narrowband filters Ha and OIII (1hr subs for both) and RGB stars
There was quite a bit of SII too, but was difficult to process so was left out.
Large version here

Taken on my RCOS 10" RC Scope at f9, SBIG STXL6303E Camera and PME mount at itelescopes Siding Spring Observatory.
Processed with CCDstack, Star Tools and Photoshop.

Cheers
Fred

Calling Fred! Are you there?
Sorry you went so far off the beaten track to find this I thought we had lost you for a moment there!
Amazing to find rare stuff like this right under our noses so to speak, well done!
100+ hrs, phew!

hehe thanks Andy. Its a struggle to do (even just to find) odd targets sometimes, but the luxury of more exposure time sure helps

Thanks. It is a spindly sucker, worth the effort, a bit different.
