Thats very impressive Andrew, clean, sharp and many hrs of processing to get it looking that good I bet . I really like the starless version in this case too.

You are correct! Spent a long time on it.. days in fact, with a lot of trial and error in getting things to a point to where im finally happy with how the data looks. Im a fan of starless images myself also, nice to have a different take.

That's one very impressive image. Possibly the finest I've seen of the Cat's Paw by a ground based 'non- professional' observatory or telescope.

I'm sure there was blood, sweat & tears involved! A great effort

I like the way that you've captured the dusty surrounds. Makes the image complete somehow.

Thanks Andy, after lots of really colourful versions that i ended up not going with, I went with a simple SHO palette that seemed to agree with the details. I won't say the number of days spent on it but finally happy with the result.

Thanks Rodney, the Ha looks twice as dusty but could only bring out the amount shown without introducing lots of noise. Ideally a RASA 11 or endless clear night's & patience could bring it out even more. But that won't be by me anytime soon.
